Q: How do you replace a headlight bulb on a Honda Accord Wagon 1991?
how do you replace a headlight bulb on a Honda Accord Wagon 1991?
A: if it uses the bulb type that goes in from the back all you need to do is replace the bulb,do this by twisting the lock ring on the back of it and the bulb will come out, just don't touch the new bulb with your fingers, the oil from your skin will shorten the life of it some, put it back in and install the ring, and plug the wire up and your done, good luck on it.

Q: How do I stop squeeking when starting my 92 honda accord?
I have a 92 Honda Accord EX and everytime I start it up, a belt or something squeeks, almost like water got on it, and it stops about 5 sec. later. How can I figure out what this is and how do I fix it?
A: Just feel the tension on the belt(s) and tighten the one that is loose.
Q: How do I get the keyless entry on my Honda Accord 06 to work?
I bought a used honda accord 06 from a dealership in November. Last night my keyless entry (which is on the acutal key) worked fine, however, this morning the lock button did not work. The unlock button works fine. What could possibly be the problem? And will cost me a lot to get it fixed by the dealership?
A: If the problem is only with one door the problem is typically with the door lock actuator inside the door that pulls the lock mechanism to "lock". so unlock all the doors and press the lock button. if the other doors open and the driver's door does not the lock actuator is bad. It usually costs about $200 to replace a defective door lock actuator. there is a chance your car is still under the factory warranty if you are under 3 years and 36,000 miles and in that case the repair would be covered under warrranty. the warranty is on the car, not on the owner so it doesn't matter if you bought the car used.
if none of the doors lock when you press the remote then the problem is with the remote on the key. try the other key (you should have received two). if the other key works then use that. if you only have one key then you'll have to replace it and have the new key reprogrammed. that will cost about $100.
if the unlock works fine then the communication system and the control unit work fine.
hope that helps
Q: How come my Honda Accord won't start or go into gear after a collision?
A drunk driver hit my car while it was parked. The collision only messed up the rear bumper and the trunk, but the car won't start or even go into neutral. I have to move the car because it is parked under a carport that was badly damaged that now looks like it could collapse onto the roof of my car. I have a '99 Honda Accord EX. Is there some sort of reset switch I have to toggle?
A: if your car has an automatic transmission maybe it's possible there was damage to the steering column that is not allowing the keyswitch to turn all the way, because the key has to be in the run position to come out of park. Or perhaps it is possible it is a combination of things depending on how bad the impact was maybe the transmission was moved sliightly and through off the neutral safety switch therefore not allowing the car to start, and I have also heard of the pin that locks a transmission in park breaking off inside the transmission, and you can not move the shifter, but I have never actually seen it happen.
Other than that, I don't know because manual transmissions usually shift no matter what.
I am not sure what year your car is, but on my old 88 Accord there was a key hole next to the shifter, and if you put a key into it it would allow you to push the button on the shifter to make it come out of park reguardless of what position the key switch on the column is in. It will work even if something has drained the battery. I think there is something simaler on newer hondas too, usually a switch or a cap near the shifter that you either have to push forward or pry out and jam a screw driver or something in it. If the battery is dead for what ever reason the switch on the brake pedal will not release the shift lock mechanism on the shifter.
Q: How do i remove the door panel from a 93 honda accord?
I have a 93 honda accord lx and im trying to remove the door panel so i can check my speaker wires. The only problem Im having is getting it off around where the handle is. Please help!
I removed the screw by the door handle but it seems to still be stuck in that location.
A: There is usually a screw where the door handle is, so remove it if you haven't already.
Here are a couple of schematics that may help:

Q: What should I do to make my Honda Accord better?
What can I get to help the acceleration on a '95 Honda Accord? What can I do to get it to move up steap roads easier? Or just waht can I do overall to make the car better. Keep in mind, I don't want the gas mileage which is at about 33 miles per gallon to go down. Thanks.
A: Spark Plugs, Plug Wires, ecm chip, K&N air filter/induction, Tornado Fuel Saver, Ignition components, transmission fluid change BY A PROFESSIONAL, synthetic blend oil, fuel filter, ect...
There are MANY things you can do to a honda to get the best performance and gas mileage out of them. I had a 97 Accord that got 34mpg and after i did many of those replacements and repairs i got about 36mpg roughly and it pepped the car up a bit.

Q: What could be cause for poor acceleration on a 2001 Honda Accord LX?
My 2001 Honda Accord LX has almost 140k miles on it and lately its acceleration has been bad. I recently did a tune up on it. Replaced plugs, wires, rotor and cap. But that didn't help any and driving under poor acceleration is pretty dangerous, especially trying to merge with traffic and can't really keep up with everybody. I need to know what else could be the probelm and how much its going to cost to fix it?
A: Maybe plugged fuel filter, injectors, or low fuel pressure. Could also be a plugged cat. converter. Take it to the dealership and have it scanned.. An Autozone scanner will not read anything unless your check engine light is on..
Q: How do I replace or repair keys for a 2004 Honda Accord?
I bought a used 2004 honda accord, and discovered one of the keys I received does not work (either the remote open/close or manually). I really want at least one spare key, if not more, for my husband and an "emergency" key. What are my solutions, for repair or replacement, because I hear getting a new key from the dealership is rather expensive.
A: Some key are code in a way they can not made out side the dealership. You will need the ID of the vehicle. From this they can make key's up. It cost a bit for those type keys.
Howener, if you have a single sided key it can be copy at any place that has the blank for it.
The other area is a locksmith. They cost a lot.
The top two are the best answer.
Q: How much should I offer for a honda accord hybrid?
This is only my second car -- my first finally died after nine years. Now I'll have to deal with dealers for the first time and want to know what's good to offer for a 2005 or 2006 Honda Accord Hybrid, esp. now since the 2007s are here. I'm willing to buy the 2005 used, and would also appreciate suggestions, like lowering the price $X amount for every 5,000 miles driven.
A: you must be tough when you go to a dealer. i worked for them for years but am retired. ask the dealer to show you the folder on this particular car. when they bring it out make them show you how much they have in the car. Then offer them 500 dollars over what they have in it. the best time to buy is on the last day of their month. They should do whatever it takes to close the deal on that day. Be sure you check their math when they give you your numbers, but do it at the end of the deal, then correct them. you make the deal you want. They want to control you but you must control you car buying purchase. you can do it.
Q: How do I remove the Pioneer head unit from my Honda Accord?
I need to install a Pioneer CD-RB10 auxiliary adapter into a Pioneer DEH-P250 head unit. I drive a 95 Honda Accord 4dr Sedan, my question is, where would I find instructions on how to remove the head unit in order to get to the back of it? Does it just depend on the way the deck is installed in the dash?
A: usually you can just slide it off with some force
but first:
1. Make the gear go down to first if automatic.
so the radio can freely exit
2. with some force pull it at the angle that it looks like it wont break etc..
3. unplug the wires from the back remember where teh go(to unplug make sure to do it straight so u won't damage anything
4. there u go,, plug everything in and your done..
ohh i suggest you run the other end of wire of the auxilary input to the glove compartment..if u dont have a setup done already..
this might help!!!

Q: How much should 94 Honda Accord EX Automatic Transmission and installation cost?
i have a 1994 Honda Accord EX and it needs a new transmission. as of right now the first gear does not work. i took it to a guy i know that is a mechanic for a car dealer, he work on cars on the side at home. he said he'll charge me $1,500 for the new transmission and for the installation. does this sounds fair enough? should i go ahead and have it done? should i go ahead and have him go ahead and start looking for the used transmission? he said that as of right now i should drive the car until it cant be driven and then replace the transmission. just the first gear that doesnt work. Thanks in advance.
WHere can i find the rebuilt transmission.... at the dealers?
can someone please tell me where should i start looking for the rebuilt transmission?
A: Do this. Contact a dealer and get them to give you a quote on the cost to do this work with a factory rebuilt trans. Then knock off a minimum of 1/3 and thats the fair price for the job. This guy is going to hunt around for a used trans.... guaranteed its not going to be factory rebuilt used, but something he had pulled from a salvage yard. Unless he will guarantee the replacement unti for 1 year, I'd be leary or buying lead undies.
