Q: What tire should I buy for a 2006 Honda Accord Sedan?
I am getting tires tomorrow but not sure which brand. I want a tire that will last but is not that expensive. I was researching Bridgestone and Hankook but wanted to know what you all think. Which tire brand should I buy? I do alot of highway driving. 150 miles a day for work. Thanks everyone!
A: i buy michlien, b.f. goodrich, and yokohama i would price all 3 brands rated atleast treadware 400 traction A temp. A or B. if tire shop doesnt have those in stock i would wait until he did as far as bridgestone and hankook i wouldn't put them on my mother-in-laws car. sub-par tires are bad about having radial pull problems something the tire guy doesn't want you to know about.
Q: I own a 2006 Honda Accord and it has started squeaking/ringing from the back left wheel area.?
Anyone had a similar situation. The noise happens mostly when you go over a bump or are turning right. I thought it might be an indication of brakes of maybe it's a shock issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated?
A: Actually break wear sensors first warning is: without touching the brake. It's a nagging squeak, squeak that you can hear at a slow pace of driving. The pads have a metal tab that contacts the rotor when it gets to a certain wear point. This tab is metal to metal. It won't really hurt the rotor but it is a warning that your brakes are needing attention soon.
This is only on a disk brake system. I'm assuming that this car has 4 wheel disk brakes.
Brakes that you can hear grinding when you are stepping on the brake need attention ASAP.
Clunking is usually not brakes but could be a suspension problem or maybe even the exhaust banging on the frame or body of the car due to a hanger failure.

Q: My friend noticed scratches/scrapes and paint lifting on my 2006 Honda Accord. What would the cost be to fix?
It must have happened within the past few days because I never noticed it before. I'm more concerned about the paint at the moment; I don't want it getting worse! I just got the bumper fixed last year after someone hit me! This is aggravating!!!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
A: Take it back to the shop that fixed it before and complain. Your paint should not be peeling, but often times shops don't do a good job with bumpers. I don't know what kind of warranty they have, but you could give it a try. If they refuse to fix it, then you should probably take it to a dealership or other reputable shop. Make sure you go to one that has a life-time guarantee. It should cost about 300-400 bucks. If the paint is lifting now, it will only get worse over time and it shows they didn't do a good job when they repaired it before.

Q: What is the easiest and cleanest way to install XM radio into a 2006 Honda Accord?

Q: Is it the wheel bearing on a 2006 Honda Accord??
A friend of mine has a 06 accord that the wheel bearing is out on it and we have an aftermarket part. Once put in the abs won't pick it up. Is there a right and a wrong way to put this in or is it something else!
A: yep there is
the wheel bearing actually is where the abs sensor reads... normaly the rubber part of the wheel bearing faces the hub not the inside of the car... gotta get a new one and start over
on the honda tech web sight they say that the "brown" side should face the inside but because you are working with aftermarket parts... i cannot tell you what way to install it and i have no clue
sorry
Q: what would cause an annoying "clunk" sound coming from the rear right wheel of my 2006 Honda Accord?
This happens whenever I hit a bump in the road. could it be something wrong with the suspension? Should I take it to the dealer or can I let it go?
A: a clunking sound means probably the rear strut is shot and isn't absorbing the shock anymore.
Could also be the strut mount bearing plate as well.
In either case the whole strut has to be removed to inspect both anyway.
could also be rear sway bar bushings as well.
Q: What can I use to attatch side door trim to my 2006 Honda Accord?
it wont snap on the the little holes ( the bracket inside is gone), SO looking to see what kind of adhesive is out there for cars that could hold it on permanently
thanks
A: you can use 3M double sided tape.it holds well enough plus its also inexpensive just make sure you prepare the surface. i would use rubbing alcohol to make sure its clean for best adhesion. i know people in the body shop biz and this is what they use as well
