Q: how much does it cost to lease a 2008 Honda Accord?
I'm turning 19 and new to this lease thing, my father agreed to get the lease in his name. I was thinking of getting either a 4 door 2008 Accord or a 2 door 2008 Honda Civic...I don't want to buy a used car. How much would I be looking at with monthly payments? Please give a detailed answer. Also if you can, provide information about what cars usually have cheap leases.
A: ok first- you have to be able to not drive over 12,000 miles each year or in three yrs when ur lease is up u will have to pay for extra miles
second-accord and civics are two diff cars-civic is cheaper
third-depends on what model u get--do u want sunroof, leather, xm radio--or just basic?
fourth--civics shld be cheaper and around $250-300 a month--many deals out there some Ive seen are 1.9%
Q: Toyota Camry 2008 or Honda Accord 2008 has a tougher body?
Since this 2 cars are good cars,i am inquisitive whether Honda Accord 2008 or Toyota Camry 2008 has a tougher body?
A: Probably Honda Accord. The Honda Accord holds the title for most reliable car in the world.
And according to Edmunds, the 08 Chevy Malibu and 08 Nissan Altima and 08 Honda Accord are all better than the Camry.
Q: so does that mean you can't put 20" rims on a 2008 honda accord?
I want to know if anybody knows what's the biggest size of rims you can put on a 2008 honda accord?
A: I think it's feasible. Honda sells there HFP rims, up to 19", for the Accord (but only V6 Coupe). It might be tight, and might stick out a little, but I think it's possible. But why would you want to? Stick with 18's or 19's, they're cheaper, and you won't worry about damaging huge 20's.

Q: what car should i buy a 2006 acura tl or a 2008 honda accord?
the Acura has 42,000 miles on it and is about the same price as a new accord. what is your oopinion i can't decide. I know the accord's pros is that it's new and i would be the first owner, but the TL's are super nice and they are as good as the honda's. I think Acura is a Honda just a luxury version. PLEASE help i'm torn!
A: I'd go with the Honda if it is a V6 EXL you are looking at. The 08 Accord V6 EXL has more power and gets better gas mileage than the TL, PLUS it is brand new so you get a full warranty.
Q: How good is a 2008 Honda Accord LX as far as quality and gas and lifespan are concerned??
I've heard that Honda's are the best cars out there. Anyone have experience with this vehicle, let me know!
A: I used to own a Black Honda Integra. Gorgeous.
However, I am a female and am not too educated on motor engines.
I only drove the car occasionally, mainly on weekends. One day I took it out for a stretch on a freeway driving at 100km, for two hours straight. I blew the head gasket, it kept on going for 1 hr after that all the way home on 80km. Not bad.
I find they are expensive to repair, otherwise no other problems.
I believe the head gasket went because it never had a chance to truly drive at the speed it would like to. It was always only limited to 60km every other time.
Great handling and I find the Honda V-Tek technology is perfected as they were one of, if not the first to use it.
Being manual, it depends on how you drive the vehicle in order to control fuel consumption. Beware it is not very hard to go over the speed limit. Once in second gear, the car wants to really move. It really needs to go for long drive every now and again.
You should take one out for a test drive and notice how sensitive the revs are. It doesn't take much to put this car in motion.
Q: For my 1st car should i get a 2008 honda accord or a 2008 maserati?
My dad told me that i can get any car that i wanted and i want either a 08 honda accord or a 08 maserati????help plzz
A: My mechanic always recommends the Honda's...they are very reliable. I'm sure the Maserati would be FUN, but I'm a practical person so the Honda would be a better fit for me...who's paying for the insurance & upkeep? I'm sure they'd both be less for the Honda
Q: I am geting a 2008 honda accord coupe i dont no what color black or silver? help?
I am geting a 2008 honda accord coupe i dont no what color black or silver? help
A: I have a '08 white coupe I like it I do admit it is plain looking but has the sleek look of black without the hassle of it I have a friend who just got the blue...it looks really nice as far as black or silver if you dont mind it looking dirty or showing scratches go for black I don't like silver myself but I would hate for a new car to show scratches like black would also consider how black makes your car hotter during the summer months and remember black will also be easier to match paint if you are ever in a accident...just not red i believe its the worst color ever:)
Q: How much can I get a used 2008 honda accord?
I want to get a used 08 honda accord in november, and my dad said that he knows good auctions that sells slightly messed up cars for a cheaper price
(my dad got a 03 mercdes benz for only 12k
only thing that needed to be fixed was the oil)
so my dad knows what hes doing at these auctions
so how much do you guys think i can get a 08 honda accord? im only 16 and i paying for it myself...i dont want to spend no more than 11-12k
A: 2008? They just came out and unless someone is really hard up, I doubt there will be much inventory. With that in mind I would probably say close to the regular price that the owners paid for them. You could always check ebay motors, craigslist, or any other internet source though....good luck!!
Q: Does anybody want to swap a brand new 2008 Honda Accord for a MINI Cooper?
I just bought a new Honda Accord (LX-P with alloy wheels and power driver's seat) grey on black, and it only has 788 miles. I made an impulsive decision and realized that I don't need all the space. I'm a HUGE fan of MINIs and I really want one. Does anybody have a nice MINI Cooper they would like to swap with my car?? Please?
A: Even though it may have been impulsive, you made a great choice.
Don't open yourself up to trading for someone else's problem.
In addition, unless you paid cash for the Accord, it isn't as easy as swapping titles. If you financed the Accord, you don't technically own it.
Q: What navigation to install in honda accord 2008?
I want to buy an in dash navigation/ XM radio. Which models fit in a 2008 accord?
A: I would not choose an in dash model because depending on what model you have it may be part of the climate control. Your best bet is to buy a portable unit. Right now my favorite unit is www.dash.net but you lose a lot of the features like bluetooth and MP3's but you gain an excellent traffic guidance feature and connects to the Internet. If that is not what your looking for try a Tom Tom.
Q: How much do you pay for a 2008 Honda Accord V6? How do you Bargain with the dealers?
What about a 2008 Toyota Avalon?
K: Thank you for a great answer!
A: Accord EX or EX-L? Nav? Leather? PZEV? These things all impact the price. Assuming you want an EX with PZEV (partial zero emissions vehicle) you can expect to pay a little under $25,000 (since invoice is $24,188). For an EX-L without navigation or PZEV, invoice is about $2,000 more and for the top of the line EX-L with navigation, invoice is $28,073. IF you can bargain extremely well, you might be able to get your price down to, if not below invoice.
The Avalon XL (base model) invoice is $25,074 and MSRP is about $2,000 more. Again, bargain hard and you can get the price down. Never pay sticker.
Aim low. Not insultingly low but just low. For a $25,000 new car offer $22,000 or another grand more and work from there. Hold your position hard and be prepared to walk out of the dealership empty handed if they won't give you a good deal. Remember, there are TONS of Honda dealers and exponentially more Accords out there. If they won't give you a good deal, it can be found elsewhere.
Call up the fleet manager and speak with him or her directly. They should be able to give you the absolute rock bottom price (though I have no experience with this and can't vouch for it personally). If you don't speak to them, prepare for what could be a long bargaining process. It can take hours. Ask about incentives, what's included in the price, if they'll cover all fees, and agree on a bottom line (out the door) price. Don't forget that sales tax adds about $1700 (at 7% on $25,000) to the cost of the vehicle.
If you plan on doing a trade-in, think twice. Just sell the car privately and enjoy several thousand dollars that the dealer would never give you. Trade-ins are notoriously bad ideas.
If you haven't already, go test drive the cars and then leave the dealership. Do not let them get you inside. However, if you do wind up going inside to talk about numbers, don't sign anything and definitely do not let them tell you for one second that any deal is "only good for 24 hours." You say right back to them, "If you want my business, it'll be good for 48 hours or until I decide that this is what I'm comfortable driving." No deal is good for 24 hours and I hate that people believe it.
I can say from experience that Toyota dealers are usually a bit less agreeable to sending cars out the door for close to invoice. It's not impossible, it's just that Honda sales managers seem to go relatively lower.
Q: how to install 2008 honda accord coupe headlight bulbs?
please help me, I really want to install new light bulbs into my 08 honda accord coupe but there seems to be no opening in the back of the headlights, how can i twist out the bulbs and where can I look? Thank You very much.
A: i always have autozone replace my headlights but go by the dealer and ask em or call the service department and ask
Q: I have to take my 2008 honda accord to the honda dealer to get the oil changed.?
My car has the 190 horsepower 4 cylinder engine. The owners manual calls for 5w20 engine oil. Should I use the honda oil the dealer sells or use something like mobil 1. I plan on driving my car for several years. I do alot of stop and go driving.
A: you can use either conventional oil or synthetic(Mobil1).
just make sure it is the correct viscosity. the engine is designed to use a specific viscosity so it would be best to stick with it.
Q: Help me in buying 2008 Honda Accord LX- Premium?
I want to buy 2008 Honda Accord LX- Premium. Is this is the right time to buy a car. What would be the drive out price for this car including taxes and fees.
A: personally i think you should wait to get an '08 accord. the first yr of a new model (no matter who makes it) is more likely to have issues. Also, if you wait until next october when the '09 models are coming out you will be able to get a better deal on a leftover '08 model
