Q: where is the auxillary jack located on Honda CRV 2006 EX model?
I have this model and i cant find where is the auxillary jack for MP3?

A: you won't find one on the 2006 EX model. Honda did not start putting in the auxillary input jack on the CRV until the 2007 model year. in those models the input jack was located under a plastic 'door' at the rear of the center console on the passenger side. hope that helps

Q: 2006 Honda CRV SE?
Anyone out there having trouble with the vehicle drifting (not pulling) to the right when you take your hands off the wheel? How about feeling like you're fighting with the steering wheel while driving straight? No accidents, no curb hitting, no potholes. All tires properly inflated. Dealership says the DRIFTING is a safety feature, if it were pulling than it's an alignment issue.

A: Roads are crowned for water drainage. Auto makers adjust steering to compensate for this. If you are driving on a flat road it will seem like your car is drifting to the right. This is normal.

Q: where can i find navigation to my honda crv 2006?

A: There are plenty of choices when it comes to aftermarket navigation for newer vehicles. Of all the pieces that are currently on the market I would say that Kenwood has the best units available. The user interface is super intuitive and the display is easy to read. This is largely due to the fact that Garmin builds the navigation piece for kenwood. There are also a ton of extras that you can add on now or in the future like iPod, Satellite of HD radio, Back up camera, the list goes on. Are you going to do the installation yourself or do you plan on taking it to a local shop to have it done? If you let me know where you are near I can make a recommendation of a good shop. I would be glad to go into more specifics with you and help you choose the right unit. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. Q: Looking for a 2006 CRV Honda?

A: craigslist.org

Q: Honda CRV Pollen Filter 2006 UK Diesel Model?
I have an egg type odour coming through the heater / ventilation system into the cabin, all be it only slight. The Honda dealer has said the pollen filter needs cleaning and they have quoted over £75 for this. Does anyone know where the pollen filter is located and how easy is it to clean

A: The pollen filter is located behind the glove box. You will need to remove a plastic cover to remove the element which If I remember rightly is in 2 parts. I think you will have to get the 2 cartridge elements from a dealer as the last time I tried a motor factors they were not quite the right size and would not fit. I have got a diagram but would need to send it to you as an attachment, so if you want it I will need your e:mail address. frankiegardener@yahoo.co.uk

Q: Bought used Honda CRV 2006 with one key!?
what are the implications? What do I do? I still don't have the other key after 2 weeks. Where can I do a free VIN check? Please help. Thanks.

A: You should have done the VIN check before you bought the CR-V and there is no free VIN check if you want specifics. CarFax.com is your best bet, but it will cost you $25. If you bought the CR-V from a reputable dealer, they should have given you one for free. Regarding the key, many people only get one key when they buy a used vehicle. If you were promised a second key, follow-up with the person that promised it to you.

Q: Interior plastic and carpet problems with a Honda CRV.?
I have a 2006 Honda CRV. Since I've owned it I've had numerous problems with the interior plastic and carpet. The dash began fading and turning white right away. Honda replaced it but the new dash had discolorations on it and marked up easily. In other places around the car the plastic started turning white and scratched easily. The driver's floor mat twists and comes unhooked all the time. The carpet under it has begun wearing out after only 23,000 miles. I was wondering if anyone else had similar problems.

A: I THOUGHT HONDA HAS TOP QUALITY INTERIOR AND AMERICAN CARS HAVE CHEAP INTERIOR????

Q: I'm looking to possibly lease a honda instead of buy, so that my monthly payments are cheaper. ?
Currently own a 2006 Honda CRV paying $358 per month for another 4 years. Honda Goodson will buy back my vehicle at 70% of original MSRP. The only deductions made are for mileage. My current vehicle has 39,000 miles. What is your opinion? Should I stay with what I have and pay another 4 years. Or purchase new one if payments are cheaper or lease?

A: that's up to you if you want a new car and feel like you'll be able to afford four more years of payments. whatever you do don't switch to a lease instead of buying a car.

Q: Honda CRV purchase an "new" old version (2006)?
I'm about to purchase a new version of the "old" CRV, as the dealer is offering me a 20% discount. Should I go fo it? Or is the 2007 model really worth waiting for?? thanks for answering

A: Go for it!

Q: How's the '06 CRV?
I'm sick and tired of American cars. They fall apart quickly and I have had the worst of trouble with them. I've supported them up until now. Time to get a foreign! What do you guys think about the 2006 Honda CRV?

A: You cannot go wrong with any Honda model at the moment. Their cars are incredibly reliable and hold their value much better than other makes. In terms of the '06 CRV, there are probably none or very few left on dealer lots. However, the '07 CRV's have been completely redesigned and are considered to be more refined than the car/suv it replaces. You should certainly consider it, you really can't go wrong.

Q: I just bought a CRV...anything I should know?
So I just purchased a 2006 Honda CRV today...anything I should know about it?

A: You should know its NOT actually a 4wd, and has next to no offroad capabilities. Worst I'd take it on is a gravel road.

Q: why does my horn honk when i turn my car on?
I have a 2006 Honda CRV and when i turn my key to ON, my horn does a quick honk. I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

A: that sounds like part of a factory alarm system on it,i had one that did that ,and i had no remote for it either, you could set this one though from the key switch, just by going to the accessory position for 5 seconds, and then removing the key it would also make the horn chirp every time i started it,that maybe it,good luck hope this helps.
