Q: What model radio is in the 2007 Honda Civic Si with navigation?
I just got a 2007 Civic Si and am trying to find a model number for the (I believe alpine) head unit in the car. It is the standard model with GPS. Does anyone have this car/radio?
A: The Civic Si has a Panosonic sound system. It has a Premium Audio Sound System. Every Honda and Acura has it.
Q: 2007 Honda Civic - Unlocking trunks causes doors to lock?
When I unlock the trunk on my 2007 Honda Civic, all four doors lock automatically after the trunk lid has been open for a second or so. Why does this happen?
A: its just a standard safety feature on a number of cars. It is for security reasons so no one can steal stuff from your car etc while you are in the trunk. My lexus hybrid does the same thing as does my bmw 7. Most of the cars ive owned have tis feature...hope this helps
Q: What do you think i shoild pay for a 2007 Honda civic?
ive already looked through kbb.com and ive compared prices but now i want to hear it from you :) what do u thni i should pay for a 2007 honda civic ex sedan with 14,877 mile and navigation system
A: In my area, this is a little more than what you would expect to pay if it is in excellent condition: http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/PricingReport.aspx?YearId=2007&VehicleClass=UsedCar&ManufacturerId=18&Condition=Excellent&ModelId=123&PriceType=Retail&VehicleId=83844&Mileage=14877&SelectionHistory=83844%7C26954%7C11535%7C0%7C0%7C1758473%7Ctrue%7C1758536%7Ctrue%7C1758509%7Ctrue#survey
These cars are actually appreciating in value. I just ran the same assessment for a friend's 2007 Civic EX coupe with 10,200 miles and it says it's worth $19,900 at a dealership. He paid $16,300 for it in December! I'm stunned.
Q: Is it normal to have to replace my brake pads so soon on a 2007 honda civic?!?
I have a 2007 honda civic coupe. I got it inspected and they told me that I need my brake pads replaced! I only have 19500 miles on my car. They said this is not normal for MOST cars. However, is it different for Hondas?
A: It depends on your driving habits, if you drive alot in the city, yes it is noraml, stop and go traffic is where you use the brakes alot, or if you like to leave your left foot on the pedal, the brakes will wear faster also
Q: How much should I expect to pay for a 2007 Honda Civic SI?
I am shopping for a new car and I am seriously considering a Honda Civic SI Sedan. I love the fact that it is a powerful compact car but I only have one problem is the price really that low? I was wondering what others have paid for this car and how available it actually is, I know the msrp is $21,260 but is this the price I should expect to pay?
A: I would do my research by starting on http://www.autotrader.com and do a search for 2007 Honda Civic Si and see how much dealers are listing them in your area. You may even find the best price at a dealer that is near your area.
Q: Compatible front seats for 2007 Honda Civic ?
I have a 2007 Honda civic sedan and the seats could be a wee bit more comfortable. Are there other Honda or Acura models with seats that are compatible with my civic so I can swap 'em out ?
Its an EX model
A: I don't believe any other honda-family vehicle shares the same floorpan, therefore, bolt pattern as the new civic. However, why can't you use a Civic Si Seat for your civic? Si seats are a little larger, more supportive (lots of side bolstering and such) and would still retain a nice factory look (they only come in black though). You have lots of choices with a 2006 Si and 2007 Si 2 door or 4 door. I'm sure somebody has swapped racing seats into theirs, so they're probably going to be a set or two on ebay. Go to a dealership first and sit in the new Si's seats and see whta you think of them first before you buy them. I doubt a dealer would have aproblem too if you took a tape measure to the lot and measured the 4 bolt holes for the seats in any other honda vehicles (and check out the RSX if they have any left)
Q: What is a good after market exhaust for a 2007 Honda Civic?
This Civic is not a SI. Honda does not offer after market exhaust for my Civic. I have to use OEM brand.
A: i just put a skunk2 exhaust on my del sol and it sounds great (and even performs better which i really didnt expect) its not too loud and should come with a removable silencer if it is for some reason too loud for your tastes. if your like me you may be worrying because you dont want it to sound like crap. skunk2=not crap. very nice and low sound, not that loud ricer sound that rattles its way out of some fart cannons. plus it looks great. it almost makes me sad that the system has to be tucked away under the car where no one can see the whole thing. many say greddy is good, which may be true i dont really know, but the only reason i ended up going with the skunk2 is because it came with that silencer just in case. you cant do anything to quiet a greddy if it is too loud. good luck in your search!
Q: will I be able to use the audio controls in the steering wheel of my honda 2007 civic if I replace the radio?
I have read here that the stock radio in the honda civic can be replaced using a double din dash kit. I wish to install a multimedia unit & my question is, will I be able to use the audio controls in my steering wheel? If so what multimedia branch would you recommend. Thanks
A: it is not the branch or brand of radio you need to worry about. most places like best buy and circut city can do it for you but if you are going to spend that kind of money i would recommend you get it done a tweeter center they can hook everything up for you and assist you in picking out the best quality for what you want in your experience. r you can go to a custom shop like xterm performance they will do it as well. now if you do it yourself I'm not sure i don't believe you can it is very difficult.good luck....go to the experts
Q: How do I replace the taillight in my 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid?
I am trying to find directions on how to replace my tail light on my Civic Hybrid. Does anyone know of a good site where I can find that?
A: If you are asking about the tail light lens or taillight assembly you have to remove the rear bumper. I can scan you instructions and pictures on how to do that if you want them; just click on the icon above my name and select 'email' to send me your email address. I can't attach a picture or a file to a yahoo answer.
If you're asking how do you change a taillight bulb, then follow this procedure:
Open the trunk lid.
Disconnect the connectors from the taillights (taillight bulb connectors are visible by looking inside the trunk at the back of the tail lamps.) There may be an interior trunk trim panel that you have to take off but in most cases its just a series of thumb screws that hold them in.
Brake Lights/Taillights: 21/5 W
Rear Turn Signal Light: 21 W
Back-up Light: 21 W
Rear Side Marker Light: 5 W
Turn the bulb sockets 45 ยบ counterclockwise to remove the bulbs.
If you're removing the taillamps with the bumper off there are 3 nuts and screws that hold the taillight to the rear panel of the car that have to come off from the inside of the trunk.
Remove the nuts and screws, then remove the taillight.
hope that answers your question
Q: What kind of headlights should I get for my 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe?
I want to get high intensity headlights for my car. What is the best look for my car? I have a red 07 civic ex coupe. What is the price generally and what is legal and illegal to have? Also, should I have it done professionally? or can i just buy and do it myself?
A: Be a courteous driver and do not do this. Aren't you annoyed when you see someone with super bright lights??? They blind you!
Here's a quiz for you...
What do you do when someone else has their high beams on?
1. Turn on your highbeams to blind them back
2. Flash your highbeams to tell the other driver to lower his.
3. Look away and continue driving.
Answer.... #3!
Unless you often drive in dark area's I strongly suggest you keep the normal head lights that are pleanty good enough.
Q: Need advice on how to get the best deal for a 2007 Honda Civic LX or EX.?
I plan to buy a 2007 Honda Civic LX or EX in the North AL area. I stopped by the dealer about a month ago, and he printed a paper with some numbers for me. Paper says $17,982 selling price and $19,237 total for taxes, etc. for the LX. I've recently began to consider the EX model. What are the differences between LX & EX Honda Civic Sedan? Overall, I need advice on how to talk to the car salesperson to negotiate my best deal for the car I want. Also, any other useful info would be helpful. Thanks!
I filled out some form online at yahoo to get 4 local Honda dealerships to give me a quote for the 2007 Honda Civic Sedan EX. One so far gave me an internet price of $18,500. Is this good, and what is entailed by 'internet' price. The location is 50 miles away.
A: Go to nada.com, kbb.com, edmunds.com. Look at all the prices for the lx, ex, and the equipment, you need/want. then look at the invoice price. If you were a carlot person, you would purchase the car at invoice plus 500.00 if you are a walk in, offer invoice plus 1000.00 plus tax and licenses. You will need to do a lot of home work. talk to one salesperson, make the offer, don't sit around and wait more than 30 min. Must know what you want and have finances or cash/check/money order in hand to purchase. Give your ph number to call you back, Do not sit in the office and wait!! If they want to sell, you will get a call within 1 hr. Go to several dealers and do the same. Then sit tight and wait for the call. The longer you sit, the higher the price will get. Or you can buy via the internet. this is fast and no salesmen. only the internet person, and finance man. you get your price over the internet and that is what you pay for and will get. Again Know what you are buying. If need more info, pm me
Q: Does anyone know anything about the 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid?
I am trying to find out information on the 2007 Civic Hybrid but cannot find any information. When is it coming out? How much will it cost? Is it any different then the 2006? Also, I could use someones opinion on what I am considering selling for it. I have a very nice 2004 Mazda 3s which gets between 23 and 27 mpg. I drive 60 miles a day for work, so my thought was to save gas by getting the hybrid in its place? Is it worth paying 80 bucks a month more on a car payment though just to save gas? Can't make up my mind, so i thought i would hear out your opinons to help me.
Thanks!!!
A: Well, the Honda Civic Hybrid was introduced as a 2003 model year on Earth Day 2003... So I'd expect the 2007 model to come out in 2007.
I do know that there was a redesign on the HCH for the 2006 model, but I haven't been following it much.
Note that you are currently getting lower than EPA MPG for your Mazda 3, so expect a similar percentage with your HCH.
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/bymodel/2004_Mazda_3.shtml
Don't forget to calculate in the US Federal income tax credit for the HCH, and any state incentives available for you as well...
http://automobiles.honda.com/models/clean_fuel_tax_info.asp?ModelName=Civic+Hybrid
Not knowing what model Mazda 3 you have (do you have a CA-emissions SULEV version?), it is possible that the HCH will have much lower emissions (or the same, depending...) than your current vehicle. Besides less gasoline use.
For selling your Mazda 3, check with kbb.com, nadaguides.com, edmunds.com, and look at local newspaper/trade magazines for expected pricing in your area.
For more info on the HCH, I'd check with:
